China's export grew far beyond expectations in March

Exports from China increased by 14.2 percent in March, while economists expected a 6.5 percent increase in exports. In February, the country's exports decreased more than 20 percent.

According to SHIPPINGWATCHD, China's trade balance surplus is also much higher than expected as exports have increased but imports have continued to fall.

China's exports rose 14.2 percent in March, according to bloomberg news, and economists expect growth of just 6.5 percent. However, imports fell 7.6 per cent, compared with an expected 0.2 per cent increase.

Exports fell 20.8 per cent in February, while imports fell 7.6 per cent due to the lunar New Year holiday and trade tensions with the us.

Falling exports and imports contributed to China's surplus in March, which rose to $32.6 billion from an expected surplus of $5.7 billion.
